Project Overview
This May we headed over to Madison County to put in a brand new half-acre pond for a customer. They wanted a real pond on their property — something big enough to fish, sit by, and enjoy for years — so we brought the equipment out and got to digging.
We shaped out the basin, built up the banks with the dirt we pulled out, and got the slopes set right so the pond holds water and looks good doing it. A pond this size takes some serious dirt work to get the shape, depth, and drainage all working together, but the end result is well worth it.
By the time we wrapped up, the customer went from a plain pasture to a half-acre pond ready to fill, stock, and enjoy.
