Morgan County's largest city — about 30 minutes from our home base
Decatur is the largest city in Morgan County and one of the major population centers in North Alabama, sitting right along the Tennessee River about 30 minutes south of our home base in Ardmore. We work in Decatur regularly, handling everything from residential yard grading in established neighborhoods like Albany, Brookmeade, and Southwest Decatur to land clearing and site prep on newly developing parcels near the Beltline Highway corridor.
One thing that makes Decatur unique is its relationship with the Tennessee River and Wheeler Lake. Waterfront and near-water properties come with their own set of challenges — erosion control, proper grading for drainage away from structures, retaining wall site prep, and soil stabilization are all services we provide for lake-area homeowners. Whether you've got a place on the river or a lot in one of the newer subdivisions off Highway 67 or Danville Road, we have the equipment and know-how to handle the terrain.
Decatur's revitalized downtown, growing industrial parks, and steady residential construction mean there's always work to be done. Contractors in the area call on us for new construction yard finishing, lot clearing, demolition hauling, and driveway base installation. Homeowners reach out for sod installation, ditch maintenance, gravel delivery, and bush hogging on larger properties. If you've got a project in Decatur or anywhere nearby — Austinville, Moulton Road, Priceville — give Patrick a call. We'll be there.
